Subject: Photos of #5335
...are posted in the photos section in the #5335 folder for anyone
who cares. My digital cam isn't that great though.
I finally took the time to hit it with a blending pad today. It took
6 hours. I had no idea the results would be so dramatic. All the
swirl marks and most of the stains are gone entirely!
I am VERY happy. 10 months, and $4,000 dollars later, I've gone from
an inert hunk of metal and plastic to a 90% functional vehicle that's
even nice to look at.
Thanks to everyone for the education and constructive ideas. This has
turned out to be everything I'd hoped for.
It sure is sunny. I think I'll take a drive in the country...

Subject: summer tuneup complete 11613
Hello all:
The job is complete. The tuneup took the better
part of the day. I found the task to be alot larger
then i thought. It didnt help that I busted my finger
early on and had to work like that.
I am in no rush to swap out cap/rotor on the
delorean again. Of all of the cars ive worked on, I
found the cap and rotor on this one to be the biggest
pain in the butt.
On a lighter note. I did find and fix several
vacume leaks during the process. Now the idle bounces
slightly for the first few seconds then stays
perfectly still.
The fule line from specialtauto are absolutely
awesome.
im too tired to do any real work now, ill be posting
pics and howto's this week
thanx
Jordan

Hello. I'm planning bringing my DeLorean to the 26th annual LeMay
Open House in Tacoma on the 30th of this month. Just curious to see
if any other DeLoreans are planning on attending. If so maybe we
could all park together. If your planning on going shoot me a e-mail
or give me a call and let me know, maybe we could caravan to the
show. See you there. Hodaka Guy

Subject: Muffler
Hi all;
Does anyone have a cross referance for the muffler on our cars. I
would dearly like to buy from the vendors but in Canada the exchange
rate, shipping and brokerage fees are a little much. It would end up
costing close to $900. I have purchased Delorean specific parts from
the vendors in the past and will continue to do so. But a 900 dollar
muffler there must be something else.
Thanks for your time.

I don't know if I got back to you. But at this time I only have ready to

Subject: [DML] brake caliper springs
I noticed on one of the vendors pages that a rebuilt caliper comes
with retaining springs on the pads, I sent an email to the vender but
am asking here if those springs are available for purchase.
