Yeah, that was unclear.  "I can't be sure I have the correct answer" =
"I couldn't possibly be sure that my position on the causes of global
warming represents the truth of the matter".

I understand that you're not trying to bury hidden meaning in your
words, but I think that it's natural for our viewpoints to be encoded,
in a sense, in our words.  Based on your words, as a whole, that was
what I gathered as far as your viewpoint, and your argument.
