Re: [DMCForum] FW: [DML] what is the Volt gage for?

With the recurring argument that the DML is over-moderated, I often find myself amazed at the junk that DOES make it through. So I setup a folder in my email called "Dumb Topics" just to keep copies of such gems. This one just made the Dumb Topics Hall of Fame. : )

I keep finding myself confused by that other needle... The one that starts waaaayyyy up and as I drive it slowly drops until the car stops running... Is that some sort of timer that I should be aware of?

Oh and while we are on the subject of needles, what's the one next to the one with all the larger numbers, you know the one that has the red all the way at the end? I thought it was cool to watch how high I could get it, then the timer must have run out because the thingy in the back made a big noise and stopped...

And while we're at it:

Can someone tell me what the odometer is on the car for? I think Odo is
the speed at which the change in the length of the road is not changing,
right? So what is the specific purpose for the odometer? Mine is
always going around and around until it gets to 99999 and then it starts
over. Is that normal?

Jon Heese ;)
