RE: [DMCForum] Re: comments at a car show...

I didn't mean to imply being a jerk to them. We all hear jokes on a day to
day basis, as do they, that relate to our business or work or whatever.

Whatever you do for a living there are inside jokes. The same for those
people. The people I am referring to are the ones who think they just
thought of the most funny thing ever and must share it with you, yet if you
said something similar to them they would be offended.

I guess it's like the office joker who never gets someone else's joke yet
thinks theirs is the shit.

Make sense?

No kidding!
VB, you beat me to it. Once I put the Flux Capacitor on the back
deck, that pretty much stopped the BTTF "sarcastic" questions. Once
they ask, "Where's the Flux Capacitor?" I simply say, "Right there"
and point. It is usually a crowd pleaser and they like that.
This is our audience. Many people associate the DeLorean only
with the BTTF series. If that's what we are going to attract, I say
do what we can to make 'em smile. It really does a lot of positive
reinforcement for the marque, even if you are tired of it.
