I guess my point is, for the car to be "as it was
before the damage was done", you would need to replace
the panel...  So why not have the insurance company
replace it, then sell the damaged panel to someone who
can repair it for a restoration.  :)

... Unless you can get it repaired for less than your
deductible and have it look perfect.
