[DMCForum] Finding experienced mechanics

I have some engine issues - weird noises, etc - and am having problems
sorting it all out. I'd like to find a mechanic who has worked on a
PRV with K-Jetronic so when I'm paying him $65 an hour he has some
idea what he's doing under my hood.

Are there any other vehicles with a PRV & K-Jet? I'm thinking maybe
there's a Volvo out there, and I might be able to get a Volvo mechanic
to help me out, etc.

If not, I've got half a mind to put up with this crap until next
spring, then yank it all and replace it with something else. I've
invested a great deal of money into my car, but little to nothing in
the engine itself aside from regular maintenance (tune-up, oil
changes, air filter, etc). I'm thinking a Mazda 3-rotor & Porsche 6
speed (like the folks at Elisa USA setup awhile back) would be ideal,
and probably easier on me than fracking with the PRV any more.
