RE: [DMCForum] Re: Cross Reference parts

My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from
this guy who knows this kid who's going with a girl who Googled just a
couple of parts prices on her laptop while wi-fi-ing at 31 Flavors last
night:

1973 Mercury Capri front calipers are available for $37.99 at Advance
Auto Parts, vs $325.85 from Houston.  Exact spec cross reference.

1989 Saab 900 Brake master cylinder is around $70, which is unavailable
from Houston according to the web page.

No problem whatsoever.

I still love you guys, but you're not always going to be the cheapest.
No business is ever -always- going to be the cheapest.

-Dave

Subject: [DMCForum] Re: Cross Reference parts

I was afraid that would be too obscure a reference for y'all - I was
alluding to the fact that no one had...anyone, anyone...responded to
my request for reporting exact spec cross references (like the
possible MG horn cross ref) that are cheaper than the NOS/OEM part
from an FSV.

Anyone who thought that line from the movie "Ferris Bueller's Day Off"
was an attempt to bring politics up again on the list (which is why I
left the last time) was...anyone, anyone...completely missing it.
