RE: [DMCForum] Fans - the final word



There has to be a way to open them.  Maybe using a hot wire to melt through
the side or a Dremel.  After seeing mine in pieces it looks like it was just
glued together.

Well, there you go :-) I've taken a couple apart and beefed them up with
added wires, but always have trouble taking the cap off without it
shattering. On the one in the pictures, part of the bottom bit broke
off. That particular one came out of my car in 2001 when I got it. One
fan didn't work and the light was on.
