Mopar had the "swivel seat" in 1959.  I know several folks who have
these in their cars.

Ryan,

A rotating seat was an option in GM midsize cars in the 1970s.   They 
took some getting used to but once you did they did make getting in and 
out a lot easier.   You can occasionally find these for sale on ebay.
