Yes, I certainly do. My dad made a deal with me a long time ago that
if I make Eagle Scout and get a fully paid scholarship set to college
(meaning I pay for nothing, or my living expenses at the most), then I
get my current college fund money as spending money. Originally I was
supposed to get "a car", but when I told him what I wanted he changed
it. There will be ~$10K in it, enough to start saving with so I can
get a nice one. I don't plan to go to college with a restoration
project (not anymore, not now that I know a little more about the
cars), but I think a $14-16K car would be good. I may be able to talk
the guy here who has one into lowering his price - he wanted $18K but
there was some very visible interior damage. It's an October 81, and
the pullstraps have ripped the padding right off the inside handles on
both sides. 

In any case, yes, if I get Eagle then I'm a third of the way there -
just need to get all my scholarships (Florida Bright Futures may be
enough by itself), plus spending money, which can also come from
scholarships..... Hmm..
