No, he knows how to legislate from the bench.  Reading into something
isn't the same as reading.  No where in the constitution is the phrase
'separation of church and state' mentioned.  It is:

 

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or
prohibiting the free exercise thereof..."

 

Saying 'under God' does not establish a religion.  Not allowing kids to
say "under God" if they want to, does prohibit the free exercise
thereof.

 

Atheists want to establish atheism as the state religion.  That's
prohibited.  (See above).
