[DMCForum] Re: DMCH in latest issue of Forbes...

Hey Dave...

Hope you are doing well.

For me, in this case, I just don't care.  I don't care because the
entire debate is all politics and in the end doesn't really accomplish
anything.  It only benefits those people who have some point to make
or opinion they want to push on others.  I can't stand getting caught
up in situations where someone draws a line in the sand and if you
don't completely agree with them, then you are on the out.  Phoq dat
sheet!  I'll march to my own beat thank you.

So why am I writing?  I don't know...guess I am bored...it's Monday.
When this thread got started, it was funny, especially on the DML.  So
I have been keeping up on it.  Sometimes it's quite entertaining to
sit on the sidelines and watch everyone beat each other while I just
eat my popcorn.  Now it's getting dull as all the same speculation,
rhetorical arguments, and circular logic are getting recycled back and
forth.  IMHO Some situations/topics get dragged on longer than they
should. (i.e. Sonny V ? oh boohoo!)

But getting back to your question; I am certainly not afraid to speak
my mind about anyone if the mood suits me.  Usually, if I don't have
anything nice to say, I try not to say it at all.  You can't make
friends that way, and I would rather have friends?even if I don't
agree with them or the way they do things.  However, if I knew
DEFINITIVELY someone is trying to pull a scam or screw someone, I
would speak up to warn people.  (I.e. the DMC Joe case were multitudes
of indisputable evidence were presented outlining a consistent deviant
conduct.)

There are too many variables of people and situations out there to
simply conclude that just because people do or don't respond to any
subject means they are afraid or unafraid.  Maybe someone just skipped
over that subject because it didn't catch their interest.  Or maybe
they did read it and thought "Ooo?carnage!  Where's the popcorn?
Fight! Fight! Fight!" and just didn't want to add anything to the
discussion.

I don't assume to know that there are any other people out there who
share my mentality on this, but maybe there are one or two.  If so,
how do we or other scenarios fit into the equation?  I think money
talks?and a better way to gauge a vendor is to see how successful they
are.  It's not uncommon for people to vote with their dollars.

I think it comes down to this.  Opinions are like assholes?.everyone's
got one and they all stink!

But please, don't stop beating each other on my account?I still have
some popcorn left.  :)

Aw crap did I just write all that?  Damn!  I think I have some rubber
bands in my drawer?I'm going to go find a victim.
