Woo hoo.

I'm the scaredy-cat!  Yay!  I agree that "most everyone" is probably 
not afraid of irritating a vendor.  I strongly suspect, however, that 
many more people than just one, who ARE afraid of irritating a 
vendor, would also be afraid of saying so out loud, for fear of 
irritating a vendor.  It makes sense.   

There are probably others, too, who insufficiently embrace their fear 
to know that they are afraid, or if so, what exactly they are afraid 
of.  I generally don't have that hangup.
