To squeeze them both into one bulb, the smaller filament may well need
to come from an imported bulb. But a domestic filament will certainly
produce more light. I'd recommend looking around for donor American
bulbs from the early 1970's -- they predate the energy crisis and are
really BIG. There's nothing quite like the feeling of power you get
from flipping a switch to turn on one of those suckers.
