Will each filament operate independently of the other? Are you going
to rig up some custom circuitry to switch between the filaments? Will
all these changes require relocating the battery?

There may not be enough room inside each bulb for two equal size
filaments -- better use one big one and one small one. If you take
careful measurements and draw it all out on paper first, you may be
able to make one of the filaments absolutely humongous.

For kicks, why not keep the outside of the bulbs stock looking. Then
no one would know each has two filaments until they look inside!

Is there a judged award at DCS '06 for best modified light bulbs?
