[DMCForum] Centerforce Clutch Question

Hello All,

I finished installing a centerforce clutch kit into my
Delorean the evening before the DMA Spring Social 2005...

The resistance on the clutch pedal seemed as "tight/stiff"
with the centerforce clutch as it had with the original
from '81 - I have a new slave and braided line, as well as
PJ Gradys' updated master. Interesting, at pidgeon forge I
checked someone elses centerforce clutch and there was no
resistance at all but it worked fine.

I drive my car fairly regularly and for the past 2 weeks
back and forth to work (8 miles round trip). This morning
after making a turn I was accelerating and when I went to
shift I felt 0 resistance until the last inch or so of
travel. The car shifted fine but I was concerned so I
checked the fluid when I got to work. The level was fine
but I did notice a few black specks floating in there.

Is this an indication I need an adjustable linkage or does
this happen with the centerforce clutch? The friction
point seems almost nonexsistant.

Regards,

Michael
