RE: [DMCForum] DeLorean rated number 1 movie car to own

For me, #2 would be a supercharged Australian Ford Falcon, the Mad Max
Interceptor. As-is it looks like ass, but put the blue and yellow paint
job on it and it's bad-ass.

Check out this site!  It lists the top 8 movie cars to own and the
DeLorean is number one!  OF COURSE!

http://movies.go.com/eightgreat?id=724789

"1. Back to the Future

Make and model: 1981 DMC-12 DeLorean, custom fit with a flux
capacitor to help it generate the 1.21 gigawatts necessary to travel
back in time.

Behind the wheel: Michael J. Fox's puffy-vested Marty McFly.

Why it's cool: Duh: It's a time machine! Also, by the end of the
film, it's an environmentally friendly, trash-fueled vehicle.

Where it's headed: 1955.

Why you gotta watch: There aren't very many comedies that ask the
question "What would it be like if your mom's younger self got a
crush on you?" The answer, of course, is that it would be hilarious,
and that Robert Zemeckis' DeLorean would still have us lusting to
leave our own burning skid marks on the asphalt."
