Sounds to me like a dressed-up excuse for this car not having the 
lines/flap bonnet that it should have. You know he's talking bollocks, 
but someone who doesn't know DeLoreans wouldn't.

That said, it looks like a nice one.

On second thoughts, given the condition, age and how well it hs been 
looked after, it *might* have had a new bonnet under warrenty?
