[DMCForum] Re: eBay Deloghini

You're right, VB. A restoration would be expensive. But I never said
restoration. Rather than swap engines on a daily driver, here's a car
that doesn't even have a good engine. And since we have so many
vendors right now who have the spare parts available, I don't see
where the "service to others" aspect comes into play here.

What I'm saying here is to take a step back, and look at things from
a different angle. This isn't a "parts car" that is beyond all hope.
It's a "guilt-free" car for someone who'd love to build a custom, but
doesn't want to tear apart a good car. Be it for their own guilt
(like me) or to avoid the negative critsisim (like Curtis).

Money is just money. And I don't have to tell an entrepenure such as
yourself about the opprotunities out there to make some. However,
ain't nobody making anymore DeLoreans out there. You can get more
money to replace what you once had. But you can't get more DeLoreans
to replace lost cars.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Cars like this still have
enormous potential. So for right now, just let them be. People like
me will get around to fixing them up soon enough. Maybe not today,
next week, or even next year. But we will...
