[DMCForum] Re: 10 cyl 5.0 liter PRV Delorean fiction on ebay

Hey Guys,

Holy Crap did you read the AS IS - No Warranty???

Here it is:

(QUOTE)

This vehicle is being sold as is, where is with no warranty,
expressed written or implied.

****The seller shall not be responsible for the correct description,
authenticity, genuineness, or defects herein, and makes no warranty
in connection therewith. No allowance or set aside will be made on
account of any incorrectness, imperfection, defect or damage. Any
descriptions or representations are for identification purposes only
and are not to be construed as a warranty of any type.****

It is the responsibility of the buyer to have thoroughly inspected
the vehicle, and to have satisfied himself or herself as to the
condition and value and to bid based upon that judgement solely. The
seller shall and will make every reasonable effort to disclose any
known defects associated with this vehicle at the buyer's request
prior to the close of sale. Seller assumes no responsibility for any
repairs regardless of any oral statements about the vehicle.

(END QUOTE)

So based off the false pictures etc, the description, and CYA he's
definitely scamming someone.  He states on the auction that he's
willing to sell the car for 16k.  No clear shots of his engine,
interior, vin plate, or frame (DOH).  And since he's not responsible
for damage or correct description, it's probably wrecked.

I wonder if the buyer got scammed already?  You'd think someone
would do a little homework before posting an auction about a car
like a Delorean.  I couldn't imagine the mods you'd have to pull for
side passenger airbags, anti-lock brakes etc.

But with a CYA like he pulled, HE THE SELLER is not responsible for
the authenticity NOR Correct description!!!!

He should quickly be reported to ebay.....Also, a carfax could be
pulled on the VIN to see if any damage was done to the vehicle ahead
of time.

Thanks,

Brandon
