Thanks for the offer, but I'm merely pitiful, not destitute (yet). I
can afford some new ones. In fact, I may *FINALLY* have a working
speedometer (2 years later) if I add an angle drive to the order.

If I were smart I'd polish my old muffler and sell it with the
brackets on eBay. Proceeds would probably be even money. Perhaps I'll
do so now that the semester's ending.

Even if I don't, however, with all the money I'm saving not buying K
Jetronic components, I should be able to keep myself in door struts
for life (sorry, can't help myself).

I'm just surprised it let go all at once. Never had one do that before.
