RE: [DMCForum] GTO vs. Herbie

I guess it would depend on your definition of a success.  Some would argue
that the Tucker was too successful.

I have heard recently of modern cars having headlights that turn in the
direction you are steering.  It was heralded as an achievement of modern
technology.  Yea... to those who know nothing of the automotive past.

Subject: [DMCForum] GTO vs. Herbie

For those of you who like all of DeLoreans creations * except Vega*.
The new Herbie movie has a 64 GTO and a 04 GTO that go against the
bug. Which is kind of ironic for me, I've seen an old Beetle beat a
stock GTO. I wonder if they put the GTO in there to honor DeLorean? I
love the movie because the Beetle is the only successful car that I
love. Edsel, DeLorean, Bricklin, and Tucker aren't what the general
man calls a success.

Anyone want a 59 Ranger?

Josh
