Re: [DMCForum] Re: My Delorean is for sale

Hey Randy,

Your budget and your expectations are fair. If you still want to buy a
DeLorean, stick around, we'll find you a much better car than Tom's
piece of trash.

I'd also be interested in how the auction turns out in terms of
feedback; Let's hope Tom doesn't leave you negative feedback and
report you to eBay for non-payment. If he does, let us know, ok?

Surely someone near Florida knows of a ~$10k DeLorean that's driveable
but in need of some work? If not now, one will come up - just be
patient. I waited a decade to get my car, and looked seriously for a
couple of years before finding the right one. I wanted something that
had been regularly driven & maintained (cars don't do well sitting in
storage for years), yet still had reasonably low miles. I found it in
a one-owner California car, reasonably well taken care of, a little
lax on maintenance but otherwise very straight and clean. 46,000 miles
when I bought it, exactly what I was looking for and I paid several
thousand dollars less than it was worth.
