[DMCForum] Re: How many concours competitors at Open House?

While I wouldn't discuss the exact statistics even if I knew all of
them, as one of the judges I'd like to say that each year the quality
cars get better and better and it's getting harder to differentiate
between cars.

Currently there is discussion of increasing the point fractions to
provide a sharper resolution to more easily differentiate between
contestants. That's how tight the competition is.

Rest assured that Mr. Bowman's car was an excellent example of what
the car was when it rolled off of the assembly line. Considering that
he had never competed before he did an incredible job and I really
enjoyed looking at his car. Personnally, I think he should try again.

It was great having him there because he was a big question mark. No
one had ever heard of him or seen his car and no one knew what to
expect. He provided real mystery to the competition which keeps
things fresh and fun.
