[DMCForum] Re: Removing mirror glass



I, too have the mirrors from Tom and I am waiting on his instructions.
I removed my old mirrors by carefully and slowly prying them free
from their backing plate.  First, you must adjust them all the way in
one direction (left or right) so that you can get to a corner.  If it
is the original mirror, the 24 year old glue shouldn't put up much of
a fight.  At least, mine didn't.

I'm really curious as to how we are supposed to wire up the heating
elements.  Tom mentioned to me in an email that they get quite hot,
and that kind of made me worry about hooking them up without some way
to cut  the power to them.
