[DMCForum] Machine shop resurfacing

Could someone give me an idea of what it should cost to have things
re-surfaced at a machine shop?  I've been taking my stuff to a local
shop, but I wanted to do a sanity check here and make sure I'm not
paying ridiculous prices.

I paid $84 w/ tax to have both of my exhaust manifolds re-surfaced
(2.5 hours labor I think).

On another occasion I paid $110 w/ tax to have my flywheel and oil pan
re-surfaced (3.5 hours labor)

Is this high? low? normal?
