Here's a link to CSK's online parts vendor, Parts America. The only 
thing that cheap there is actual booster, not refridgerant. Take a 
look at the prices. And this isn't for Vegas specificly, I accessed 
the site with no cookies for my zip code. So I know that this can't 
be something specific to only Vegas.

Prices are almost the same over @ AutoZone's web site. When they did 
this story on the news, some local mechanic was on there, and said 
that many chemical companies are throttling back production of R-
134a, and demand for it has increased, because of increasing car 
sales in China and Europe that are demanding MVAC more and more. 
Sounds like bunk to me. But hey, I can get the $20 609 certification, 
and buy R12 cheaper at this point, than I can R134a. I just need the 
tools to work on my own vehicles...
