Hmm, I don't know if it is any more complex, just different.  You can get
these in aftermarket and I tried to find you a good link but wasn't able to.
If I do, I will post it.

My limited understanding of this is it eliminates the external slave and the
pivot arm that holds the throw out bearing.  The aftermarket piece sits
inside the bell housing and rides on the input shaft.

I am not familiar with this setup..  However, if it is
more complex than a hub I will probably go with the
hub.

The bell housing has to go to a machine shop to have a
spacer made anyway, so a hub should only add another 6
months to the project!  :)

Life would be so much easier if I had my own machine
shop.
