RE: [DMCForum] CAR NEARLY STOLEN

If they knew anything about the car, it would be very easy to pass it off as
a regular De Lorean with just a few changes.  Still, it would be a great
loss to the community.

Alistair, get something in place to help protect that car and possibly
document as much of it as you can with pictures of specific areas and
details.

FWIW, you have a rare car.. worth more than your
average DeLorean, and it does attract extra attention.
What makes them even more stupid (if they did target
you because of your rare car) is that they would never
be able to sell it.  Even if they exported it,
anywhere in the world "PILOT25" showed up, we would
all know it.

You can get a good security camera system, with DVR
and even the ability to view the video on line or send
it to another off site location (in the event the DVR
itself is stolen!).  The systems are not that
expensive (considering).  You can probably get a
decent one with cameras for under $2000.

Luckily, I have never needed to review the video.
