Bob,
     Sounds like a great idea.  Will the TFT screens hold up to the 
intense summer heat we get out here in AZ?  I have an LCD thermometer 
in my car and once the interior gets above 140 degrees the display 
goes all black and takes a while in the A/C to come back.  Do you 
think this will be an issue with your TFT dashboard or do you think 
it will stand up to the AZ desert summers?
