RE: [DMCForum] sticker & props (cont. from dashboard)

This sticker had to be rebuilt using what was left of two remaining good
stickers, save for a difference that only i know of. This involved
filling in gaps and such where the originals had rubbed away. I'm fully
aware that, yes, someone else at Universal put their time and effort
into thinking up the design and making the initial run of stickers. So
in essence, it's the work i put into "reviving"(if you will) the
stickers into the prop supply chain. I'd like to know who was the person
who did the initial artwork on this, so i may thank them personally.

The reason for the "difference" is because it's pretty well known among
any BTTF fans is that a lot of props, especially ones that appear on
paper, end up as part of some 'HUUUUUGGGGGGEE LOTTTTTT" that ends up on
ebay (we've all seen those) or somewhere, being sold to garnish money
for someone who clearly didn't invest a lot of time and effort into
making, naye, rebuilding, the prop.

I've spent well into the 5-digits in order to get Griff's car back
together. This project broke me and put a lot of other projects on hold,
even DCS06 could be problematic for me to get to because of funding. It
would simply suck to know that others could use so much as a digital
scanner in order to undermine my efforts for thier gain. Honestly, i've
only sold a few of them anyways, so it's gonna take a while to even
recoup my efforts on that.

If anyone wants to question their accuracy, let me advise them that Paul
Sher, Jr.l from Code One (and at the time of production, Jay Ohrberg's
Star Cars) has a few of my stickers and doesn't even know the
difference.

Sorry for the long-winded post, but this whole project was a LOT of
effort and very personal to me. It's the only thing i'll probably ever
be known for.

Was this something you made up?
I mean, was this a found sticker that was actually on the car ans used
in
the movie
or did you make it up and draw it yourself?
