RE: [DMCForum] PRV Performance

Walt,

I'm not looking at building up my engine.  I'm looking at re-engineering a
PRV from the ground up.  The racing pistons and rods I'd be using would more
than handle anything I could throw at them.

Talking about PRV turbos being so expensive and unreliable:  There is an
owner in Tampa who claims he put a turbo PRV in his DeLorean.  I think he
said it came out of an early 1980s 760 Volvo found in a junk yard.  I have
never seen it, so talk is cheap.  However, with some of these FACTORY turbos
still lingering around, it would be totally nuts to spend the money on an
aftermarket turbo that strains an engine that wasn't made to take that kind
of boost.  Say bye-bye to your #4 piston if you use it regularly.
