Re: [DMCForum] DVD Formats

http://www.usatoday.com/tech/techinvestor/industry/2004-11-29-hd-dvd-battle_x.htm

2 Formats?! What a surprise.. Another format battle.

When will Sony learn?? For the most part, they have
lost the format wars. (Betamax, 8mm Video, MiniDisk).

What really sucks is guy like Video Bob will have to
be able to do both formats..

Now that DVD players are under $30, I may buy one. (I
had one of those APEX units with the secret menus, but
sold it on Ebay 2 yrs ago for a profit and have not
had one since).

I want one of those new ones that will play DIVIX
files straight over the network from your PC!
