I thought someone said a while ago that it was battery fumes
condensing on the glass.

Actually I replied to Bill, accidentally privately, so my message
never made it to the board, mentioning that I've never used my
heater (this is Arizona!!).

It always had the green stuff in it afaik.  And now you just opened a
new can of worms -- I just looked in the reservoir and not only is it
full to the top, but it looks like water!!  Haven't looked in there since
I got it back from Keith the Mechanic the last time it overheated.
Guess I'll be calling him on Monday.

If the dash was Armor-all'd, it was a long time ago, but it's possible
that that's what the haze is.  Someone suggested that privately.
Even so, I just can't seem to find a solvent that will work.

Magic word -- carwash!  I think I'll take it to a
"professional."..................LP
