Agreed, some would claim that is what the DML is. 

Under the control of James, I think it WAS.  He simply
did not allow any commercial posting at all.

Being that the replacement moderators were hand picked
by him, and most of the moderators are also concours
judges, I think it is human nature (even if
unintentional) to "play nice" with the vendors...
especially DMCH.

In such a small community, any moderator may find
themselves in a position of doing what is in the best
interest of the vendors, because they would want to be
liked by the vendors.  Clearly there is POTENTIAL for
personal gain here..  again, even if the behavior is
unintentional.

Absolute power corrupts absolutely.
