I agree with Walt,

There is more information today about  how we only see 20% of what 
really out there. This is more dark matter in the universe and visible 
matter. Could there be other multi dimensional life forms?  Why not?   
Just because humans can't see it doesn't mean it is not there.

AFter all, 300 hundred years ago, we could not see microbes that are 
alive!   So if you asked people back them if dirt was alive, they would 
say no!
