Great question and a frustrating one. Seems most people vote out of 
BLIND loyalty. I somehow look at it that people will feel ashamed, 
or embarrased to admit maybe their candidate isn't the best man. It 
is like it actually hurts their pride, or their self esteem to admit 
it. I say just swallow your pride, set aside any loyalties 
you "think" you may have, and just vote for who you truly believe in.

It is sad people are so bluntly stubborn that they will not wander 
from their flock sometimes, and sadly, no one would ever half to 
know. That is what really hurts the election system. But I really 
like Colorado's idea of splitting the electoral college votes. I 
think it is Colorado that is pushing for it, that'd make the popular 
vote a little more fair, instead of the all or nothing game we have 
now.

Guess it is all just a matter of stubborn pride I guess.
