Re: [DMCForum] Re: VB

I'm using the harness to cut apart so I don't have to chop up any of the
car's original wiring. I am running new speaker wires to isolate the
ground to each speaker.

I see my mistake on assuming he "John Hervey's" his parts (that would be
that he makes quality stuff that's hard to find anywhere else). Oh
well.. he beat me with marketing. I still have what I need to do my job.

Thanks!

Eric

Eric,

He didn't have the wiring harnesses made, he found them somewhere and
resold
them for a markup to justify his, well, costs for lack of a better term.
I
don't remember what radio you have in your car, but if it's not original
you
need to lose his wiring harness.

I see this thread about Video Bob and I'd like to jump in-

I'm not sure about Video Bob- he's very active in the community and has
done a bit of work lately, with his DVD and his vinyl strips he's
selling. I bought his radio wiring harness, which by the way is very
good quality and it will serve me well, but he made the harness in a way
that a little different than the way I would have done it. His Pigeon
Forge DVD's are great momento's for us to hold on to- his work has
helped capture that weekend in quite a fine way.

Reading his posts, he reminds me of a radio announcer announcing a huge
closeout sale at a furniture store- get it while it's hot, everybody
wants one.. etc. That's salesmanship, and to me, it's annoying. But how
do you sell a product if no one knows about it?

All in all I think Bob's good for the community and like the rest of us,
he has his ism's. You could say he fits in well here...
