I suspect it's in the parcel shelf region. It's either in the ECU
compartment or the relay compartment.

I checked the ECU plug. It has a shielded blue cable going into the
connector and a bundle of smaller wires coming out;

green for power,
black for ground,
white/slate for "pulse distribution"

The drawing makes it appear as if the junction is in the relay
compartment. Also, dig this: The wire to the coil is a stiff, steel-
like wire and the ones for the tach and RPM relay are standard
coppper. I really am curious now.

Also, what Walt and Andrei are saying about plug gap and dizzy cap
wear really has my clock ticking. I'm going to pull them and re-gap
them. It'll only take a minute. I've ordered a new cap too. I think
I'm very close to fixing this.
