RE: [DMCForum] Re: Ohm's Law

Rich,

I played De Lorean today and checked this out on my car.  Indeed, mine is
like the other European cars of that era with the receptacle being larger
than domestic versions.

I have a few of those plastic adapter sleeves somewhere, so if I can find
one I will get it to you if you want.

Greg

You guys are all correct of course, I apologize for my poor verbage.
I should have said I'm reading, 4.5 amps DC at the cigar lighter, but
I realize that current is -drawn- not pushed.

I have a short somewhere. Mike Cohee also has no trouble using his
cell phone charger in his car.

I am only blowing fuses in the device plugs themselves, NOT the car's
fuse.

No fused device I've tried works in the outlet. Cell phone charger,
Mini-disc player, etc. Again, the fuses IN the male plug blows.

I'll be tracing it hand-over-hand, as usual.

Rich
