Not me, but as usual I have something to say about
everything:
If the electrical switch itself goes bad, that can easily be
jumpered.  Just blow hard on the plastic cover surrounding
the steering column to move it out of the way and then
access the wires right there.  But if the lock jams up then
perhaps a shot of oil could limp you home.  Otherwise they
are screwed on pretty tight with shear head screws (which
means that you have to be creative to get them out -- not a
road-side job.)
