Confusing apples with oranges a little bit, are we? (Diesel versus
gasoline).

I've never disputed that diesel engines produce more TORQUE per
displacement than gasoline. Extremely high compression does have that
general effect...

My beef is with your little buzzy gasoline engines. Please feel free
to bolt to their front anything you wish, then bring them over for a
thorough thrashing. Bring a spare transmission too so you'll still be
able to drive home.
