That sounds better than 10.8V.  What kind of battery do you
have?  I noticed an over-all performance gain by installing
a new battery.  It replaced a 3 year old Interstate battery.
When the voltage goes low from sitting at a light, the new
Optima battery would recover much quicker.  But it also
seems to discharge quicker, too.

My acceleration lag seems to have become worse after leaving
the brake lights on for several days.  I left a box resting
against the brake pedal by accident.  I would expect that to
kill the battery, but it recharged and seems to be otherwise
doing fine.
