RE: [DMCForum] I Stand Corrected ("Plastic" DeLoreans)

This car is driven 80 miles per day on the interstate.

There is no cord showing on the tires, in fact the little wear bars have not
yet been touched on the two original tires still on the car.

I have kept the tires at 40 psig since the car was new.  The two I replaced
were on the front most of the time and just started to ride on the wear
bars.

When I change the oil, I look at the brake pads and shoes.  They are not
worn out, though they are getting close.

That does not compute.  That front brake pads can't last
that long, can they?  How thick are the pads?  And you have
two original tires on your car with over 100K miles?  How
much cord is showing?
