Could be the turn of the century suit ("Is the rest of this outfit as
interesting?").

Could be the Model T's. You can stick a blue oval on anything to make
it instantly sexy.

Could be pity ("Oh dear, your only child is named 'Edsel', I'm so
sorry to hear that").

Shouldn't we simply be thrilled that a female is interested in
ANYTHING automotive?
