[DMCForum] Binnacle

I used contact cement, which had the added effect of softening the vinyl
also.

With a lot of patience I was able to mold the vinyl around the binnacle,
around all the curves and inside the lip in the front.  I used masking tape  to
hold the vinyl in place as in some places it wanted to "recede" The was
minimal bunching up and this could have been eliminated with more patience,  elbow
grease and masking tape.

The edges of the material are inside the binnacle where you don't see  them

The only visible seam was at the bottom center.

I saw your post regarding the vinyl from JoAnn's.

What did  you adhere the material to the binnacle with? 3M? Hot glue?
Where did you  anchor the edges of the material?

Thanks,
Rich  A.

Thank  you,

Dave
