Honestly Andrew, it depends on how good your gas struts are, and how
tight your t-bars are now. If your doors droop at all, then they will
probably just open correctly after the actuators are installed. If
they "fly" open now, then you might consider having it done soon.

In my opinion, if the doors "bounce" more than once after they hit
the stops then you're too tight. Even temperature has an effect on
how the doors open. Down in TX, the heat will make the gas expand in
the shock so the doors will open more forcefully.

If you just can't pay to have 'em adjusted now, "ride" the door open
with the strap or handle to the stops so they don't bounce. Advise
your passengers to do the same. That's what I did until Dave
Titlebaum adjusted mine at the Spring Social in NY.
