There were a lot of things about that war that did not make it to the
public, and no I am not talking about conspiracy theory.  The public was
told we had no nuclear weapons over there at all.

There is no evidence whatsoever -- especially from the US government
itself -- that Iraq used chemical weapons in 1991!

This is a claim from some sufferers of "Gulf War Syndrome". IT IS JUST
AS LIKELY THEIR ILLNESS WAS CAUSED BY OUR OWN MILITARY'S ANTIDOTES.
Not one major news organization has been able to verify the
accusation. The US government has never alleged such. It's a spurious
claim kept alive by web bloggers.

Bush the Elder threated *NUCLEAR* retaliation (tactical) if Hussein
used chemical weapons. That's why Iraq never used them (if they even
had any left after the 1980's Iran War -- notice Hussein had the balls
to call a war a "war").
