[DMCForum] Re: Louie Golden At Pigeon Forge (DeLo vs Mustang)

Why don't you bring the DeLo after dark and we'll fix your A/C there.
Are probably dealing with Bob Thomason's pre-existing freon leak. Just
threw away a coupled hundred dollars of R12, that's all. I have all my
tools and a spare complete R134 charge under my hood right now. Walt
Coe is bringing a real vacuum pump if you prefer. We can use the
compressor itself to flush the system (flame arrest, flame arrest --
we wouldn't pump THROUGH the compressor, but leave the low side hose
loose). Can pour the current oil out or simply recharge with it. R134
really doesn't care either way (Rich Acuti and Mike Cohee felt my A/C
today, two years after conversion with the original oil. Hasn't blown
up yet. Of course I have Lincolns that have been running that way
nearly three times as long).

Maryland crew isn't leaving until Friday, so I'm trying to find
another Thursday caravan. Will drive down alone if I need to. Would
like to get there before Midnight to be fresh for the Dragon Run.

Don't forget I'm going home with the North Carolinian caravan.

Speaking of acting up, my A/C system is doing just that. It has me
rethinking a 4 hour trip in the DeLorean. I might just take the
Mustang. I still can't believe you pulled off your engine swap so
fast. How do you like your new engine compared to the other? Can you
tell a power difference either way? How's that new dual exhaust
treating you? What time will you be in PF? I intend on being there in
time for the dinner and seminar(s). What room are you going to be in?
