I made the mistake of not reading ALL of the posts before replying.  I think
you will be ok.  Walt mentioned one of his cars being damaged, he thought,
because the person towing the car left the steering wheel locked.  I have
never used a tow-dolly so I have no idea in that department.

I have a manual, but like I said in a prior post, I thought it was generally
bad even in neutral. I'm starting to believe that I might be OK.

Don't want to tow it with the rear wheels on the ground?  I don't remember
which transmission you have.
